Castle Point

This morning the rising tide revealed 14 Turnstones, eight Ringed Plovers and a juvenile Redshank.  Manx Shearwaters were moving north over the calm sea at around 700 an hour, with only a very occasional Gannet.
Heading south were three Med Gulls, two Shelduck and a Fulmar.  A Grey Seal poked its nose out of the water occasionally.
