YNYSLAS and TANYBWLCH

There were around 1000 Dunlin and Ringed Plovers at the high tide gathering at Ynyslas this morning plus 6 Turnstones, 3 Knot, 5 Sanderling and this lovely Curlew Sandpiper.
Later, at Tanybwlch there was a nice-looking male Wheatear and one of the Greenland race. Amongst the many Pied Wagtails were at least 2 White Wagtails.
A Kingfisher was beside the ditch which runs across the main meadow and by the river were 4 young Swallows waiting to be fed.
