I finally made the effort to go and look for the YBW - no luck - but was
lucky enough to see the newbie flock of 16 European whitefronts fly in from the
south to join at least 300 teal. They landed on Lodge Farm fields but were jumpy
because of incessant shooting at Lodge Park. 2 greenshank, water rail heard,
dipper and kingfisher also put in an appearance.
