More seabirds

Helen and I enjoyed enormous numbers of the commoner gulls at Aberystwyth this morning, while trying to find something more unusual among them.
Further out lots of auks still passing, and a couple of parties were close enough to identify as Razorbills, as were two on the sea. At least 150 Gannets went by accompanied by a good number of Kittiwakes and Great Black-backs.
A similar picture at Llanrhystud in somewhat smaller numbers, but still lots of gulls, including 15 Meds, Gannets and auks (seven Razorbills on the sea).
I finished up down the coast at Llanon, where I met John Val. There were now 15 whitefronts in the stubble field and I can't imagine how many Skylarks.  We had one flock of ca60 and there were plenty more, also Linnets, Reed Buntings, Meadow Pipits and a couple of juv Goldfinches.
