There were 3 Whooper swans on Penycefn pool (between Bow Street and Bontgoch)
at 8.00am this morning. Possibly the same ones seen by Jerry at Pendam?
A little later at Glandwr I had a female marsh harrier in the bins when a
ringtail hen harrier appeared along side it, not something I've seen before! On
the pool there were 18 Black-tailed godwits, 2 Greenshank, 5 Redshank and 3
Snipe. Amazingly, between 16 and 28 godwits have been at the site since at least
1 September now.
