Shortly after I arrived by the ford at the Clettwr I did get a brief view of the bird but sadly it did not show for Harry or for Jon Turner when they arrived.
A Dipper was present for most of the time. There were two there when I arrived. We also had a distant view of the juv. Marsh Harrier hunting low towards the railway line.
