Roy and I spent an hour or so looking at the Dyfi from the lay-by at Glandyfi this morning. Highlights included 5 Goldeneye (3 female and 2 male,) a Kingfisher, a Common Sandpiper - overwintering?
We also watched a seal that eventually caught a large fish which it proceeded to eat, approx 3 or 4 hundred meters up-stream of us. It's the first time I've seen one that far from the sea.
