Willow tits

I had two willow tits in the trees around my garden in Cross Inn yesterday and on the 14th. They were very active. The willow tit is tweet of the day tomorrow (Tuesday) at 5.58 am.

There were 34 turnstones on the turning high tide by the pier yesterday. Further along the prom, I could only see four purple sandpipers, but they were feeding at the tide edge. They seem to shake the hind parts of their bodies. I don't know if there is any reference to this in the Birds of the Western Paleartic. Also, am I right in thinking that Aberystwyth is the most southern stop off for PSs.
