Gull feast excluding Caspian Gull

Llanrhystud provided a gull feast late this afternoon as the field next to the caravan park was being ploughed. It was great to finally meet Chris Bird who told me that Arfon and Edward, visible with their scopes in the distance, had found a Caspian Gull. By the time I got there, a paddle boarder had disturbed the birds resting on the water, so I was out of luck. Nevertheless, the mixed flock of gulls following the plough was a fantastic sight and the kites had rich pickings as well. Other birds present included Oystercatcher, Redshank, Ringed Plover, and Turnstone.
