Tom's garganey

While checking the electric fence at Lodge Farm (part of RSPB Ynys-hir east of the Clettwr) Tom Kistruck flushed a male garganey from one of the ditches. Luckily I was close by taking soil samples and managed to get the scope on it when it flew with two teal onto one of the ditches. A cracking bird. Thanks Tom for the text!
