Bob and Jerry both had another look round Ynys-hir after I left this morning and Bob has just told me that Jerry found a Redstart near Ynys Edwin. He also watched an Osprey catch a fish (forgot to mention that we saw two Ospreys at the nest earlier).
A very good morning for Mr Moore, as he also had a Lesser Spotted Woodpecker by the car park not long after Bob and I had failed at a site where they have been seen recently.
