Bird song walk: Wed 12th April

I am delighted to announce our first Bird Song Walk, which will take place on Wednesday the 12th April at 2pm.  We will meet at the Heol-y-bont Bridge, which is the road bridge over the Rheidol, near the "Morrisons roundabout".  Grid reference:  SN 59443 80328
We will be led by local birder Naomi, who will help us to work out which songs belong to which bird!  Please bring binoculars if you have them, and wrap up warmly.  Kingfishers and Dippers are often seen on this stretch of river, and a Blackcap is an occasional visitor, as are Goldfinches and Long-tailed tits.
This walk is suitable for all ages, and all are welcome.  It will take around an hour and a half and finish back at the bridge again.  If we get heavy rain, we will postpone, and will let people know via this email list and Facebook, so please keep an eye out.
