At Foel fawr today were 2 singing cuckoos and lots of tree pipits in. On Lodge Farm the first lapwing chicks have hatched and on a small pool near the railway line were two ruff (probably visible from the Clettwr footpath), a whinchat and 36 wheatears, the majority Greenland birds..
