New Quay and Pant Pool

Plenty of Whitethroats along the south cliffs in New Quay today also there appeared to be a fairly constant northerly passage of of jellyfish.
Re Coots on Pant Pond they have nested there for most of the past 25 years as have Moorhens. The young moorhens this year may have fallen victim to the Little Egret or the Heron as both these birds were wandering around when adult Moorhens took the chicks on walkabout. The Tufty duck pair have been displaying.
