Ynyslas

Signs of wader passage at Ynyslas this morning with 19 Dunlin, two Sanderling and four Ringed Plover at the point, and two Whimbrel near the Leri saltmarsh.  Six Sandwich Terns included a juvenile.  Later, a Wheatear was on the Leri near the railway bridge.
The King Eider was in the usual area at the Leri mouth when I arrived, but soon drifted upstream and out of sight.
Still hanging around; the unseasonal Great Crested Grebe.
