Bluethroat - Teifi Marsh

A 1st year female Bluethroat was ringed on the Teifi Marsh this morning.

Apparently the 3rd record for Ceredigion.

This bird was caught as part of our long term monitoring of migrants through the reed bed adjacent to Mallard hide in the Ceredigion part of the marsh. This is the site where 2 Aquatic Warblers were ringed in 2010.
Migration is slowing down but still a reasonable number of Sedge, Reed and Cetti's Warblers ringed every morning that weather permits.
