  At Nant yr Arian there was a female Tufted Duck with 9 tiny ducklings. This was one of the sites as relatively recently as 2000 where breeding was proved for the first time in Ceredigion.
  Also there today, a Great Crested Grebe and 2 Little Grebes.
  On neighbouring Bray's Pool there was a female Tufted with 8 tiny ducklings, 10 other Tufteds, 2 Great Crested and 2 Little Grebes.
  Back in Aberystwyth, 13 Turnstones.
