Grey Phalarope

Thanks to a call from John I was also able to see the Grey Phalarope at Tan y Bwlch this afternoon - the pictures I took are rubish though.
When I got there the cows in the pasture had all congregated right next to the ditch, in exactly the place that John and Harry had described as the bird's favoured location.  So I had to wait about 15 minutes for it to appear - quite a long way off.
But whilst waiting I saw a wheatear and several linnets and pied wagtails close by, and two chough passed noisly behind me.
