NEW QUAY

Just over 2 hours at New Quay this morning (and no rain!) produced a constant stream of Gannets, many very close in, and Manx Shearwaters. During the second hour there was a heavy passage of Kittewakes, many skimming around the rocks below the fish factory, sometimes at a rate of around 100 per minute.
A further highlight were 3 Arctic Skuas heading south. Likewise, Jill and I are off to warmer climes for a while.
