Glandyfi

40 minutes at  the layby mid afternoon.
Poor light but good birding with 6 little grebes, single grey plover, common sandpiper and black-tailed godwit on the river with usual small numbers of curlew, redshank and oystercatchers. Distant kestrel, a red kite and buzzard on the saltings and then superb views yet again of a female hen harrier. A flock of 200 lapwing on the farmland on the Meirionnydd side of the estuary.
