Spent 40 minutes at the lay-bye this morning – no sign of the
firecrest!
Red kite, 2 buzzards and a sparrowhawk. 2 goldeneye, 3
goosanders and a single common sandpiper.
I called in at dusk last night – no owls but 9 goosander my
highest count there this winter.
