Around the Dyfi

The sea was too rough at the turn car park for anything but brief views of small groups of scoter.  Just up the road at Ynys Tachwedd fields a superb male Merlin was perched on a nearby fence post.
The tide was right up to the entrance at Ynyslas, so I saw little except for a small party of Ringed Plover and Dunlin which flew past accompanied by a Turnstone.
From the Glandyfi layby,  Common Sandpiper, Sparrowhawk and three Barnacle Geese.
