The sea was too rough at the turn car park for anything but brief views of small groups of scoter. Just up the road at Ynys Tachwedd fields a superb male Merlin was perched on a nearby fence post.
The tide was right up to the entrance at Ynyslas, so I saw little except for a small party of Ringed Plover and Dunlin which flew past accompanied by a Turnstone.
