Of some interest, there are currently five little egrets feeding amongst
sheep in a ploughed field on the west side of the road just north of Taliesin.
They have been there a few days. At first, I assumed they would be cattle
egret, but definitely little. Presumably feeding on invertebrates brought up by
the ploughing. I don't recall seeing 'inland' groups like this before, away
from water.
