Ynys Feurig hide this morning. The highlight was reasonable views of 17 Greenland white-fronted geese and 23 barnacle geese on the grazing marsh. The flood below the hide was the quietest I've seen it this winter - sightings included 140 teal, 7 shoveler, 1 snipe and 90 lapwing. 2 great crested grebes and 2 red breasted mergansers on the river.
Ynyslas late pm. A walk from the vis centre car park to the boatyard- highlights were approx 8 twite on the saltmarsh, 24 linnets and 250 golden plover. No birds of prey today other than buzzzard and red kite, though superb views of a barn owl hunting in Llancynfelyn.
