Sightings from the Point at high tide yesterday morning included
Sanderling (22), Ringed plover (8), Knot (1), dunlin (14), turnstone (1) plus a
few oystercatchers, cormorants and two GBB gulls, and a fly-past by a Little
Egret and Mute Swan.
Then onto the salt marsh as the tide was receding: redshank
(2), Curlew (2), Shelduck, and around 50 golden plover.
