Glandyfi egrets

The highlight of a half hour between the rain showers at low tide this morning  was 4 great white egrets, 3 of which dropped in from the north.  Other records included 5 little egrets, 6 goosander, and single green and common sandpipers. Several chiffchaffs and a blackcap in the scrub by the railway and a noticeable lack of hirundines compared to the last few days.
