Interesting two recent reports of a merlin at Llanrhystud.
One flew over my house, which is a couple of miles inland from there, back in
that warm week in September, closely followed by a flock of alarmed swallows.
First time I’ve seen one in this area.
Tawny owls seem to be unusually lively here just now with
much calling almost every night, whatever the weather.
