It’s interesting to note the occasional out of season visits to the breeding
ledges. There was a visit last November and again in the last few days. I think this activity must be linked to the
proximity of prey fish.
Fri 3rd Jan
Up at Bird’s Rock again this morning and the transient guillemot visitation is
over with no birds seen. Enclosed images of the ledges are from Jan 18 when
there was one of the previous visits. Seen today were a couple of Meadow Pipits,
the local male Kestrel, Chough and Peregrine (image enclosed)
