The redhead smew was on the Marian Mawr pools at RSPB Ynys-hir again today. Also there were six gadwall and a kingfisher. On the Dyfi there were seven little grebes, five goldeneye and four goosanders.
Yesterday, a 10km walk starting from Nant Yr Arian produced a coot on Pond Llywernog, usual goosanders, little grebes and goldeneye on the lakes and small flocks of crossbills including five different singing males.
