At the Leri at high-tide this morning there were a few early passage waders with a greenshank, a whimbrel and a sanderling. Three summer-plumaged black-tailed godwits were on the ploughed field near the boatyard with a few curlew. Also a few Mediterranean gulls there and on the estuary.
Sea-watching at Borth from 0600 to 0730 was un-productive with only a few hundred Manx shearwaters passing (I should have stayed in bed).
