Fairly quiet last 2 days, though highlight for me was a superb male hen harrier yesterday. Today a great white egret on the Meirionnydd side, 2 little egrets, 140 lapwings (the most I've had here this winter so far), and 6 goldeneye and 3 goosanders. Tried for a short eared tonight but again no joy, though I had a probable Daubentons bat taking food from the surface of the Dyfi.
