Reading about the Hen Harrier sightings around Trefenter and Llangwyfron reminded me that I forgot to report one near Rhyd-Rosser on Monday 25 January. I was chatting to a non-birder and she was quite taken aback when, in the middle of talking, I pointed across the fields and exclaimed, “Male Hen Harrier!”
