A walk around Cors Caron yesterday morning, I had 1 Chifchaff, a pair of stonechats, 1 sparrowhawk, 2 reed buntings, 1 kingfisher.
At Maesllyn lake there were circa 200+ wigeon, 12 Teal and 10 Mallard and
1 Water Rail. Also the Heronry at Maesllyn lake is getting very busy with about
20 birds flying in and out this morning.
An evening walk around the Pencefn loop revealed over 30 Kites, 12 Buzzards
and a Pair of Ravens. A pair of Bullfinches were seen by the slaughterhouse on
the way down.
