A lot fewer birds south over Llanon today. From 7 – 9 am: 308 Chaffinch, 19 Linnet, 48 Meadow Pipits, 11 Siskin, 75 Skylark, 152 Wood Pigeons, 2 Brambling, 3 Goldfinch, 1 Grey Wagtail, 22 alba wagtails, 2 Lapwing and c. 3000 Starling. One Lapland Bunting and c. 250 Linnets in the stubbles. The highlight of a quick stop and scan of the southern end of Cors Caron was a Shelduck.
