Just enjoying a nice toastie this lunchtime when the phone peeped and I read of a Red-backed Shrike at Llanon. Wow, grabbed my stuff and jumped in the car, toastie in mouth. Bumped into Marc Hughes at the Carpark at Llanon who pointed me in the right direction S/W of the carpark where I soon found Arfon who was still on the bird. What a beauty. We were then joined by Andre Morgan.. Big thanks to Marc and Arfon for finding the bird and for Arfon for waiting till I got there.
