Cwm Wyre

Some recent sightings from Cwm Wyre, Llanrhystud - 27thApril, saw a Goshawk on a long shallow trajectory dive into a smallgroup of Wood Pigeons feeding on Ivy berries. Later on I found the plucksite so must've been successful. No body just feathers, some red bitsand pieces and undigested Ivy berries.

28th April, Stock Dove singing.

29th April, Jay harvesting nesting sticks from a dead Wych Elm. It broke
off 4 or 5 and discarded them before finding one to its liking and
flying off.
Generally lots of Blackcaps, single Willow Warbler, not that many Chiff
Chaffs, Dipper and Grey Wagtail pairs on the Wyre, Siskins song
flighting, very conspicuous Sparrowhawk displays this year.
