There was a wood sandpiper at RSPB Ynys-hir this morning from the Ynys Feurig hide. This is the fourth there so far this spring with one on 30th April (David Anning), two on 4th May (Mark Carter) and now this one. None have stayed long with Dave’s around for a few hours, both of Mark’s flying north after an hour and the one this morning flying in, feeding and bathing for ten minutes before heading north again.
