My wife and I went for a walk this morning across and down the hillside that separates Clywedog plantation (Ceredigion) from Cwm Twrch (Carms.). A handful of Wheatears were still present as well about 30 House Martins. Also, a Kestrel and a Marsh/Willow Tit and best of all a Green Woodpecker. The woodpecker (in Carmarthenshire) was about a mile from those reported at Clywedog on 05/08.
