Managed to get to Ynyslas as the drizzle cleared and on a falling tide. Much higher wader numbers with 720 dunlin, 470 ringed plover, 63 sanderling, three turnstone and two knot. Despite trying I could not find anything unusual amongst the waders.
At YF hide at RSPB Ynys-hir, five black-tailed godwit and 57 teal
the only birds of note.
