Saturday 3rd April
Only three Mallard and a couple of Goosander on or near the Cwmrheidol dam lake this morning. We (Merfyn and myself) were both after the Ring-necked Duck but no luck. Chiffchaffs singing as well as a probable Green Woodpecker heard - only the first part of the yaffle was heard.
