Barnacle Geese at the Clettwr

I must have just missed Russell this afternoon, I went along the Clettwr as well. I didn't quite go to the end of the path because I had Buster with me and I didn't want him to disturb the geese feeding in the last field. I counted 245 Barnacle Geese but was aware that there were some hidden from my view. Slightly separate from the Barnacles was a flock of Canadas with 2 gorgeous Snow Geese. Not far from the car parking area I had an excellent view of a female Merlin perched on a fence post.
