The lone Brambling visiting before Christmas has moved on. We see an occasional Greenfinch, but the main visitors are Goldfinch generally 25+, Siskin 20+, Chaffinch 30+, House Sparrows, fairly constant at 15, give or take, odd 'packs' of Starlings 15, the odd Blackbird, Robin (1 or 2), singing strongly most of yesterday, the odd Collared Dove, Great Spot and the usual mob of Great , Blue and Coal tits. The cold snap Blackbirds and Thrushes seem to have dispersed with the improvement, but the single Wren does not seem to be about unfortunately.
