Llannon-Llanrhystud
Similar things at Llanrhystud as seen by Aline and fellow soggy birders at the weekend. 175 Curlews, 20 Turnstones, 6 Dunlins, 6 Wigeon and a Shelduck. Very little at Llannon until a small brown bird caught my eye. By creeping along the barbed wire fence I was able to get parallel with it, about ten paces away. A fantastic looking Lapland Bunting, so possibly more about. It was in the second field down from the car park and in fact was amongst the pebbles at the very top of the beach.
