Llanon to Llanrhystud

Undeterred by the weather after this morning’s field trip in Aberaeron, 3 of us continued with a walk along the coast from Llanon to Llanrhystud lime kilns. Highlights included a dipper (where the stream meets the beach in Llanon), also a flock of 150 – 200 curlew, and 20-30 wigeon. We also saw 4 redshank, several turnstones, and heard a skylark singing.
