The golden eagle soared higher and higher (with a buzzard) yesterday as the day warmed up and the sun came out. Eventually, leaving the buzzard behind, it went into a long shallow dive towards Cors Caron......I wonder if anyone saw it there?
There was a dipper by the bridge at Pontrhydygroes, and in a field by the B4343 just before it drops into the village, a flock of about 130 stock doves.
