Ynys-hir and Cwm Einion

John and I visited the Breakwater Hide at Ynys-hir this morning, we had a brief view of a Goldcrest on the way. From the hide the highlight was a female Hen Harrier which we watched, both hunting and perched for some 10 minutes or more. John also had a brief view of a Greenshank. After our tea and cake we collected Buster and went up along Cwm Einion. The highlight there was a group of somewhere between 14 and 18 Crossbills.
