Dunnocks

Waiting for Morrisons to open this morning went along the path behind up to the footbridge. An active chiffchaff, 6 singing male dunnocks, billfinch, a goldfinch and two long-tailed tits at the footbridge. OK nothing unusual unless you see a goosander but it's a good little area. On way back, the dunnocks were quiet, and I thought that unlike Dafydd ap Gwilym, they had be successful.

No birders in Morrisons. Sounds like John D has a Moriisons list of birders.

Then off for 33 hands of bridge in the Mid-Wales final of the Evan Jones trophy. Came 6th out of 11. Surprisingly, Evan Jones was not a Welshman.

A red throated diver off the prom at 5.
