I think you're right about the Osprey, it was the Cormorant, particularly as it was exactly where my bird was seen. I hadn't got any bins with me and it was raining so it looks more than likely that I was wrong. It didn't have its neck outstreatched or show its' bill and I must admit I was drunk, no not really, but was concerned that the tail looked a bit longer than the wing tips though not as long as a Cormorant normally shows. I guess enthusiasm got the better of judgement in this case. I hope that I didn't cause to much disruption to anyone elses Sunday and sorry about wasting your time. See you soon.
