Three Chiffchaffs at the Teifi Marshes late this afternoon, actively feeding and calling but none in song. No Cettis heard (too late in the day) but a fine Barn Owl hunting over the reedbeds of Pentood marsh (the Ceredigion part!). A Buzzard tried chasing it for a bit, before losing interest. The owl then just carried on hunting.
38 Teal and 2 Little Grebes on the river, plus a further 3 pairs of Teal on the Bass lagoon.
