Having not seen or heard a wren this year, it was a relief to hear one at Coed Dolgoed this morning. Also saw a marsh tit, crossbill, a meadow pipit and a pair of lesser redpoll. A goldcrest was proudly showing off his crest.
Later this afternoon I saw the golden eagle in the area it was first spotted a year ago, about a mile past Strata Florida, sitting on top of the hill between 'Troedrw' and the farm 'Tyncwm'
Not many migrants inland at the moment, unless I've been unlucky. Saw a chiffchaff at Maes Llyn on 17th. Haven't seen or heard any since
